The Philippine Army (PA) and three of its field units have received six new vehicles from the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Police Mutual Benefit Association Inc. (AFPMBAI) on Monday.

Army spokesperson Col. Xerxes Trinidad, in a statement Tuesday, said PA chief Lt. Gen. Roy Galido received the vehicles from AFPMBAI executives led by retired Brig. Gen. Bienvenido Regondola during turnover and blessing ceremonies at their headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The donated vehicles consist of a boom truck, a manlift truck, two commuter vans, a light weight truck, and an ambulance.

The two trucks and the commuter van are for the use of PA headquarters while the three other vehicles are for the 10th, 2nd and 1st Divisions.

“During the activity, Lt. Gen. Galido expressed his gratitude to AFPMBAI for their generous contribution to the organization and for always looking after the well-being of its personnel,” Trinidad said. (PNA)
