Phoenix Gas Vietnam, a subsidiary of homegrown company Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., was awarded the Top 20 Gold Service Award for Consumer Rights 2021 in recognition of its exemplary performance in the supply and trade of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the Vietnamese market.

Bestowed by the Committee on Good Vietnamese Products and Consumers’ Rights, the merit is only given to Vietnamese brands and companies that have shown significant contributions towards improving market competition, as well as in the protection of consumer rights and interests.

“Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we are thankful that the company’s role in the supply of LPG, the high ratings we have earned, and the overwhelming trust among partners and customers that we have diligently worked for, have been recognized,” says Phoenix Gas Vietnam General Director, Mr. Duong Nghia Dung.

Dung, who leads Phoenix Gas Vietnam, was also awarded the prestigious recognition of Outstanding Vietnamese Businessman 2021 Award for his role in helping achieve the organization’s achievements.

“We are honored to accept these awards. This is a landmark achievement for Phoenix Gas Vietnam as we continue to affirm our position and name in the oil and fuel industry,” he adds.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Petroleum Chief Executive Officer and President Henry Albert Fadullon also extends his congratulations to the Phoenix Gas Vietnam team for their accolades. “We thank our Phoenix partners in Vietnam who continue to uphold our mission of conducting our business with the values of integrity, excellence, innovation and teamwork. This is a tremendous honor for us at Phoenix, a homegrown Filipino company,” said Fadullon.

“The title of Top 20 Gold Service Award for Consumer Rights is affirmation of the international business community’s recognition towards the quality, prestige and customer-centricity of the products and services of Phoenix,” said Fadullon. “As we further grow as a company, locally and globally, we will strive to build on services that put customers at the center and continue to deliver quality products, whether in the Philippines or abroad. This way, we maintain the position of Phoenix as a brand that local and international markets can trust and depend on.”

This year’s awarding ceremony marks the 11th year of the program directed towards the promotion of consumer protection and the role of business enterprises against commercial fraud, unfair competition, and poor quality goods. The event was held in Hanoi, Vietnam last November 2021.
