Another medical worker joins the fallen Filipino heroes.

Nurse Manny Pacheco has succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic he had transmitted while on duty at the Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC).

“Yes, I confirm the untimely death of Mr. Manny Pacheco, Chief Nurse of the hospital due to COVID-19,” Cesar Tutuaan, MCMC Hospital Administrator, told the media.

Pacheco observes an immense enthusiasm towards his profession, and it showed with how he was well-appreciated by his co-workers. “He was loved by his colleagues, peers, and superiors,” Tutuaan shared.

After 30 years of hardwork, he became the chief nurse in 2016.

Pacheco took his last breath at around 2:40 pm on April 8. He was 62.

Today, we give our warmest salute to Nurse Manny Pacheco, whose passion for the medical field lives on. May his dedication serve as an inspiration to the future health workers.
