Vice President Leni Robredo visited the province of Laguna on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, to turn over her office’s livelihood assistance to various beneficiary groups and to visit sewing communities there.

In Calauan, Laguna, VP Leni handed to the members of Southville 7 Credit Cooperative assistance from her office to help them start their rice retailing livelihood.

VP Leni’s office also gave livelihood subsidies to the Calamba Fisherfolks Producers Cooperative to boost their production of bottom soft gill nets.

Members of Phase 3 Southville 1 Marinog Homeowners Association in Cabuyao, Laguna were also among those who received the assistance for their bakery and pastry food carts business, as well as the Pederasyon ng mga Mangingisda at Mamamayan ng Biñan in support of their eco handbags production.

While in Calamba, Laguna, VP Leni also visited the members of La Mesa San Isidro Multi-Purpose Cooperative, one of the new partner sewing communities of her office for the production of locally-produced personal protective equipment as part of the OVP’s COVID-19 response operations.
