This Christmas season, you can match your replay of ‘Home Alone’ with a very detailed LEGO re-enactment. It’s the largest LEGO Ideas set ever and LEGO has stuffed it with numerous references to iconic moments from the film.
The LEGO Ideas ‘Home Alone’ kit contains roughly 4,000 pieces, including small figurines of the key characters from the ’90s classic about an 8-year-old kid who outwits robbers when his family leaves him home alone for Christmas.
Additionally, Robbers’ truck, paint cans used to knock them down, Buzz’s pet tarantula, Kevin McCallister’s treehouse, and the after-shave scene that left Kevin crying in the bathroom are all included in the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set.
“Just like every ‘90s kid, I grew up watching ‘Home Alone’ and it holds a very special place in my heart. I can’t even imagine holidays without it. This movie is very nostalgic and makes those warm childhood memories come up every time,” said in a press release by Alex Storozhuk, a 28-year-old Ukrainian fan of the film who submitted the design to the LEGO Ideas Platform.
Inside and out, the LEGO Ideas Home Alone kit is faithful to the film’s aesthetic. Including the basement and attic, the structure includes the ground and second floors of the house. Also, the house is accessible from the top, and the walls separate in the middle to allow complete access to the interior.
Aside from being a wonderful present for ‘Home Alone’ fans, building the LEGO Home Alone set might be a fun group activity to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Furthermore, the kit costs approximately PHP 12000, however, it is now out of stock. But don’t worry, backordering is possible, so you’ll simply have to wait if you want one for yourself.
