Most parts of the archipelago will experience rain showers due to the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Bicol Region, Mimaropa (Region IV-B), Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and northern Mindanao would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Light winds and slight coastal waters will prevail over the whole country.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that may develop inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility until Sunday. (PNA)
