The Department of Health (DOH) 13 (Caraga) said 538,401 individuals in Caraga Region have received their full doses of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines.
In a report Wednesday, the agency said the number is based on the latest records of the continuing vaccination in the region as of November 1.
“As of November 1, a total of 1,090,562 doses of Covid-19 vaccines are already administered in Caraga Region,” the DOH-13 said.
Most of the individuals with complete doses of Covid-19 vaccines in Caraga are those with comorbidities under the A3 category, with 195,485; and those in the A4 category, with 149,166.
Senior citizens with full vaccines as of November 1 reached 104,440 while a total of 49,823 front-line health workers in Caraga are fully vaccinated as of the same period.
A total of 29,505 individuals under the A5 category have received their full doses of Covid-19 vaccines, the agency said.
The agency also reported the full vaccination of 9,729 outbound overseas Filipino workers, 207 pregnant women, and 46 individuals classified under the rest of the population.
The DOH-13 also reported the decline of Covid-19 cases in the region with 43 new infections recorded as of November 2.
The region has 922 active Covid-19 cases as of Wednesday out of the 48,121 total number of infections recorded since the pandemic hit the area in March last year.
The total recoveries in the region numbered 45,466 with a total of 1,733 deaths, the DOH-13 reported. (PNA)
