Determined to create a faster, timely and convenient way of activating disaster response and relief operations after the devastation brought by the recent Typhoon Ulysses, leading software solutions company Multisys Technologies Corporation launched its newest platform DonationBox.

DonationBox.com is an all-in-one donation and fundraising platform that promotes transparency and honesty as it brings together support for people who are in need of assistance during calamities and crises.

It has an easy-to-use registration process; a wide range of payment channels to choose from; vast distribution reach; SMS and email notification; and simplified comprehensive analytics that show the consolidated amount of donations and those who donated them, updated in real-time.

Companies and organizations can use DonationBox, free of charge, by reaching out to MultiSys through the “Partner with Us” button on the website.

“Our country is vulnerable to a variety of disasters, and it can be especially difficult to reach some parts of the country that are prone to these dangers because of our geographical orientation. This motivated us to use technology and develop DonationBox that seeks to provide a fast and efficient way of mobilizing support from individuals who have the same vision and passion to help those who are affected by calamities,” MultiSys CEO and founder David Almirol shared.

The platform was launched after the company held a 24-hour hackathon with the best of its full stack developers and elite programmers.

“The 24-hour hackathon that we held with our elite programmers was so intense and emotional—their innate passion and unwavering dedication to help and do something significant using their technical skills and know-how never seizes to amaze me,” Almirol added.

In only two days after DonationBox launch, MultiSys was able to raise PHP1-M for the Typhoon Ulysses victims in Cagayan and Isabela, Almirol’s hometown. Almirol shared that MultiSys is currently forging partnerships with the public and private sectors, as well as non-governmental organizations and religious groups to ensure wide distribution reach of the donations.
