After ten years together as a band, Little Mix have revealed that they will be taking a break after their Confetti tour next year but they swear it will not be permanent.
Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall stated on social media on Thursday evening that they were putting the group on hold to pursue new projects, but reassured fans that they were not dissolving.
“It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects,” the group posted.
“We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much,” they added.

Despite the statement, the band claims to have more music, tours, and performances planned for the future.
“We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more,” the group assured.
“We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever,” ending the statement.
Little Mix is the first band to win The X Factor in 2011, a year after One Direction finished in third place.
We’ll surely miss them as a trio, but we’re looking forward to seeing what fascinating individual projects they’ll be working on.
