Tarsier Records artists Kiana, Leila Alcasid, and Moophs are among the featured Filipino talents in the newly released mixtape “semilucent” by international media company 88Rising’s localized label PARADISE RISING.

“Excited and grateful to be part of this @88rising project. We at @tarsierrecords licensed two tracks to their new PH imprint @paradiserising,” said Tarsier Records label head Chris Lopez a.k.a. Moophs.

The five-track “semilucent” mixtape includes a collaboration between Leila and Moophs called “Clouds,” freshly produced during the quarantine, and Kiana V’s “Safe Place” which she recorded in the US last year.

The EP, released just last Friday, is the maiden offering of record label PARADISE RISING, which is a partnership between 88Rising and Globe dedicated to establishing a presence for Filipino artists in the west and globally.

Launched in 2017, Manila-based label Tarsier Records is the home of Moophs, Leila, and Kiana V, as well as the likes Inigo Pascual, Sam Concepcion, and Markus Paterson. The label takes pride in producing and releasing music designed to break borders and showcase Filipino talent to the world.
