Find inspiration in the various roles played by box office queen Kathryn Bernardo, who introduced and embodied memorable film characters who have brought us to laugh, cry, and root for them.

Here are some of Kathryn’s well-loved roles that bring hope, love, and forgiveness amidst challenges and heartbreaks:

1. Tin in “Three Words to Forever”

Kathryn’s work in the family drama “Three Words to Forever” has made a mark on viewers as she plays the role of Tin, the only daughter of Ricky and Cristy (Richard Gomez and Sharon Cuneta) who are on the verge of separation after being married for 25 years. Unaware of her parents’ situation, Tin excitedly comes home from abroad, surprising her family to join the wedding anniversary celebration of her grandparents.

Mark Angelo Ching commended the actress in his review of the film, saying “Kathryn imbibed her character with an eagerness that’s charming but not grating.” Through Tin’s endearing presence, viewers get to see how love has evolved in her three-generation family.

2. Joy in “Hello, Love, Goodbye”
The highest grossing Filipino film of all time, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” features Kathryn in another heartwarming role. Her portrayal of Joy, a hardworking OFW in Hong Kong, has become exemplary, earning her the Best Actress nod in the 2019 Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards for Movies (The Eddys).

In this film, she takes viewers in a romantic journey with Ethan (Alden Richards), the guy who will rock Joy’s world and will be determined to pursue her despite knowing her dreams to work as a nurse in Canada for her family.

3. George in “The Hows Of Us”

Movie enthusiasts cried buckets of tears with Kathryn’s portrayal of George in the huge blockbuster hit “The Hows Of Us,” one of her well-loved films with real-life beau Daniel Padilla.

As George faces hardships when Primo (Daniel) didn’t get his big break and fell into depression, she gets torn between her school and work, and also eventually wavers on whether to stay in their long-term relationship or live her life without Primo by her side.
