On the other hand, Kapamilya stars Alexa llacad, Amy Perez, Andrea Brillantes, Anne Curtis, Belle Mariano, Daniel Padilla, Donny Pangilinan, Francine Diaz, Jeremy Glinoga, Karylle, KD Estrada, Kim Chiu, Kyle Echarri, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Robi Domingo and Seth Fedelin, were hailed as Makabata Stars (television and online categories) for embodying good values that Filipino children can emulate.

Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo was a big winner as she was named a Hall of Famer for constantly being voted as a Makabata Star for seven years in a row.

Meanwhile, “It’s Showtime,” “TV Patrol,” and Knowledge Channel’s “Sineskwela” were among this year’s Household Favorite Programs in the TV category.

The Anak TV Awards are given by ANAK TV, an advocacy organization that promotes television literacy and pushes the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines. The Anak TV Seal is a national award voted on by parents, educators, business and media professionals, government, media, NGOs, the religious sector, and youth to be given to child-sensitive programs airing on Philippine television.
