AirAsia Philippines has announced its plan to increase flight frequencies of three of its top destinations this holiday season.

From December 1, 2019 until January 31, 2020 travelers between Manila and Davao, Iloilo, and Cebu can look forward to more flight schedules to avail of.

As per AirAsia Philippines’ routes department, daily Manila-Davao and Davao-Manila routes will have a total of 35 flights a week, from 28 frequencies.

Daily flights between Iloilo and Manila will also increase from 28 to 35 flights a week while between Manila and Cebu will be increased by eight frequencies, from 63 flights a week to a total of 71.

“The holiday season is a busy time for travelers, and we hope that by putting these additional services on, guests are able to make it home to their loved ones this yuletide season,” AirAsia Philippines chief, Ricardo Isla, said in a statement.

The carrier claimed that there are more than 100,000 seats available for the aforementioned routes for this season.

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines earlier announced it would increase the frequencies of some of its existing routes, also in anticipation of the increased demand this holiday season. (PNA)
