It often involves walking on a treadmill or around the neighborhood while engaging in comforting activities like watching a favorite show or sipping an iced cold coffee. The goal is to make exercise feel less like a chore and more like a self-care routine.

Beyond physical health, walking serves as a mental health booster and a means of social connection for Gen Z. Trends like the “Hot Girl Walk,” popularized on social media, encourage individuals to use walking time for positive affirmations and goal setting.
