The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is making a significant impact at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) 2025 which runs from Mar. 17-20 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, solidifying FDCP’s commitment to elevating Philippine cinema on the global stage.

FDCP anchors their participation in the Philippine Pavilion, which will host 18 Filipino companies showcasing a diverse array of films and series. It aims to foster international partnerships, attract investments, and create market opportunities within Asia’s dynamic entertainment landscape.

Adding to the excitement, two Filipino film projects – Moonglow by Isabel Sandoval and The Circumciser (Ang Magtutuli) by Jun Robles Lana – have been selected for the 23rd Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), which runs from Mar. 17-19.

HAF is regarded as one of Asia’s leading film financing platforms that brings together filmmakers and potential financial backers.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, FILMART is one of the premier entertainment content markets. Last year’s edition attracted over 760 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, drawing more than thousands of industry professionals.

The FDCP’s participation in FILMART 2025 reflects a high vision to propel Philippine cinema onto the international stage. By engaging in such significant industry events, the FDCP not only showcases the country’s cinematic talents but also reinforces the Philippines’ growing position for creative excellence in Asia.
