A pandemic is probably the last thing a couple would want to deal with when they are starting a family, especially when both are medical frontliners. This Saturday (June 27), “Juan Love: Pag-ibig sa Panahon ng Pandemya” shares the story of spouses Donna and Jay and how they soldier on to raise a family amid COVID-19.

Donna and Jay are both nurses based in New Zealand. They already planned to have children, but Donna had a miscarriage.

Donna got pregnant again. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened. What was supposed to be a happy pregnancy for Donna became a chapter in her life shrouded with fear and worry. As a nurse, Jay is taking care of COVID-19 positive patients while Donna needs to stay home since she is highly susceptible to the virus.

How will they face together the uncertainties brought about by this pandemic?

“Juan Love: Pag-ibig sa Panahon ng Pandemya” is the newest addition to the roster of inspiring and informative online shows produced by GMA News and Public Affairs and features stories about love in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
