The recent Taal Volcano eruption has surely taken a toll on its neighboring residents, particularly of Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, and Tagaytay.

With tonnes of ash accumulated, Biñan City Mayor Arman Dimaguila Jr. took the initiative to recycle those to produce bricks.

The great part about this? The final products will be donated to the homeless victims.

Apparently, this is not the 1st time that the city has come up with this. According to the mayor, they have been making bricks out of recycled materials before.

See how ashes are transformed into bricks on a Facebook post Dimaguila shared.

Ashfall to bricks!! Kaya kailangan nating isako ang mga ito at hindi makabara sa ating mga canal. #bayanihansaBinan

In addition, other items that can come from ashes are hollow blocks and plant boxes.
