The first single from the British artist’s forthcoming album 30, “Easy On Me,” which was released on streaming platforms on Friday, October 15, has officially broken the Spotify record for the most streams in a single day less than 24 hours after its release, shattering BTS’s Spotify record for day-one plays in the process, the streaming platform announced on October 16.

As of writing, the track has broken another record by being Spotify’s most played music in a week, with 84.95 million chart streams in its first seven days.
“Easy On Me” surpassed the previous record-holder in terms of filtered chart-eligible streams, which are publicly available via SpotifyCharts.com.
Adele’s official video for “Easy On Me” has exceeded 100 million views on YouTube, and the song is presently No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, Adele’s new single debuted at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart for the week ending October 22, shattering a few more market records along the way.
Moreso, Adele’s previous album, “25,” sold 7.4 million copies in the United States in just six weeks, and now her first new single in six years, “Easy On Me” serves as the first track from her upcoming album 30, which will be released on November 19.
