PAGEONE Media is not planning to repeat what established fashion publications already report. Its Milan and Paris coverage will ask what the season’s developments mean from a Filipino and Southeast Asian perspective.
That includes trends that could travel to the region, the growing visibility of Asian talent, and the possible impact on Philippine creatives, brands, retailers and consumers.
PAGEONE Media President Vonj Tingson said the decision to be on location reflects a larger ambition for the network:
“We don’t need to be another media outlet telling Filipinos what the rest of the world is already reporting. We want to be where important global conversations are happening and ask what they mean for our audiences back home. Milan and Paris give us that opportunity. We can bring the world closer to Filipino audiences while bringing a Filipino perspective into the conversation.”
