Bela Padilla is set to headline one of ABS-CBN’s biggest offerings this year, joining Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson in the lead cast.

“This is very new for me, bagong-bagong character. Bagong genre rin, first time kong mag-aaction drama, so I’m very excited. I think people will also be very surprised kung ano yung magiging takbo ng kwento rito or yung takbo ng karakter ko rito,” the Kapamilya actress said in a TV Patrol interview.

She also revealed that she is taking Muay Thai lessons again and learning stunts to prepare for her role.

After over a decade, Bela will be reunited in a teleserye with Richard, with whom she previously worked in GMA’s 2013 series “Love & Lies.” Meanwhile, this will be the first time Bela will work with Gerald on a TV project.

The yet-to-be-titled action-drama series was previously teased during the 2025 ABS-CBN Christmas Special.

It will be helmed by FM Reyes under JRB Creative Production, the creator of “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin,” “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin,” and “Sins of the Father.”

The series will be Bela’s most-awaited comeback on television after starring in several hit Kapamilya shows, including “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “Sino Ang Maysala: Mea Culpa,” and “My Dear Heart.”

She was last seen on TV with a special participation in the 2024 series “Pamilya Sagrado” and made her homecoming to Star Magic in August 2025.
