“Incognito” stars Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, Kaila Estrada, and Daniel Padilla, who will power through as a team one last time in Marawi to finally defeat El Cano as the series nears its finale.

During its finale media conference last Thursday (June 26), Richard shared how the “Incognito” team bonded with each other through every mission.

“Every mission, habang tumatagal, mas nagiging close yung buong grupo. Not only the actors but also the crew. Mas nagagamay namin ‘yung isa’t isa. For the finale, dito talaga nagbunga ‘yung lahat ng bwelo ng grupo namin,” he said.

Daniel expressed what he felt as the series neared its end: “Masasabi kong ito ang pinakamagandang desisyong nagawa ko sa buhay ko. Grabe ang lahat ng natutunan ko, ang mga pinagdaanan ko, at ang personal na growth na naranasan ko.”

Director Lester Pimentel Ong also vouched for the Kontraks’ closeness on and off cam.

“They carry each other. Pag pagod na, they support each other. Kahit tapos na ‘yung scene nila, hindi sila aalis; sinusuportahan nila yung kasama nilang nagsu-shoot pa. ‘Yung moral support is very big from each other. Even ako, I get my energy from them,” he said.

Meanwhile, Star Creatives business unit head Des M. De Guzman expressed how the series gave second chances to the cast.

“Incognito is a story of second chances, worth, and family. Alam naman natin pinagdaanan ng superstar cast natin. Hindi kami lumayo sa tunay na buhay, instead lumapit kami.”

On the other hand, Maris said that it was her best career decision to accept this project because it was a dream come true to act in an action series. Kaila also shared how her character taught her how to sacrifice for love and a sense of duty.

When asked about their characters, Baron said that he will apply Miguel’s great traits as a father in his real family life, while Anthony shared that he admired how Tomas expresses love and affection.

In the finale trailer, the Kontraks will finally face Manuel Aguinaldo and El Cano in explosive battles in the ruins of Marawi. As they fight as a group, the Kontraks will also confront their own challenges in life, love, and family.
