The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Sunday culminated its four-day Signal Operations and Leadership Development Training here with the United States’ Guam/Hawaii National Guards (GuNG/HiNG), hosted by the Army’s 4th Infantry Division (4ID).

The training was conducted under the State Partnership Program (SPP) that aims to build and sustain a resilient reserve force vital to our national security, according to a news release.

The SPP activities were designed to equip and provide participants with knowledge and skills in personnel management, personnel readiness, and humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations.

The participants learned basic military communication essentials for coordinating movements, relaying commands and ensuring situational awareness.

Forty regular and reservist officers and non-commissioned officers from the Philippine Army, Air Force, Navy, and Technical and Administrative Services actively engaged in the training activities. (PNA)
