The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) invites all public relations professionals and consultants in public, private and non-profit sectors to enter their outstanding PR programs and tools in the 58th ANVIL Awards.
Interested individuals and agencies can submit an unlimited number of entries done from October 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022 in the category of PR programs – on a Sustained Basis or as Specialized PR programs. In the category of PR tools, these can be publications, multimedia tools or special events and exhibits.
PR Programs on a Sustained Basis must have been in place for at least 24 months by October 31, 2022. Judges will evaluate what is new: the innovations, new standards, or results that occurred within the eligibility period of the 58th ANVIL.
Anything accomplished or done before October 1, 2021, including previously published material submitted to the ANVIL Awards will not be judged, and prior developments or achievements will be considered as background information.
Specialized PR programs must be issue-based and implemented from October 1, 2021 onwards.
Publications, in the meantime, must have been finished and distributed from October 1, 2021 onwards. Results demonstrating the impact of the publication on the intended audience should be included.
The multimedia sub-category, meanwhile, includes audio visual presentations, online videos, blogs, and other materials created for a PR program and initially produced or made available from October 1, 2021 onwards.
Special events and exhibits sub-category includes in-person or online events and exhibits staged from October 1, 2021 onwards.
“The awards is themed “Isang Habi” or “One Weave,” which reflects the intersection of all the resources and materials to create a useful and meaningful whole – like the role of PR in helping realize an organization’s goals,” 58th ANVIL Chairperson Catherine Salceda-Ileto said.
“This concept wonderfully reflects the richness of Philippine culture in its heritage of textile-making, woven from the bounty of nature, enriched by natural color dyes, and then its wefts and warps painstakingly assembled to produce patterns and images that comprise the cloth,” she emphasized.
“If this process sounds very much like how the most effective PR campaign and tools are made, it is because it is the perfect metaphor for what the ANVIL Awards represents – the end product of much work, imagination, and purpose.”
Submission of entries opens on October 15, 2022. Early bird pricing is available from October 15 to October 31, 2022. Entry regular rate is in effect from November 1 to November 15, 2022, while the entry extended rate is from November 16 to November 30, 2022.
Deadline to accept entries and entry fees is on November 30, 2022.
Winners will be announced during the Araw ng Parangal on February 1, 2023.
All entries must be submitted online at www.anvil-awards.prsp.ph using the available templates and within the designated nomination period.
To proceed to the screening and judging phases, each entry must have its own entry form, authorization form from the client (if applicable), executive summary, program or tool PR plan, supporting papers and samples, and paid entry fee.
Presented annually by the PRSP, the ANVIL Awards is the symbol of excellence in public relations. The ANVIL is awarded to outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners after careful screening by select PR professionals and judging by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
