The P-pop five-member boy group SB19 made history as they outrank K-pop superstars BTS on Billboard’s Hot Trending Song Chart this week.
SB19’s ‘Bazinga’ becomes the first musical act to replace BTS which has been placing number one for the first six weeks.
According to Billboard, it’s SB19’s first time to top any chart. From November 26 to December 2, their ‘Bazinga’ garnered 1.5 million mentions on Twitter (or up 67%) during the tracking week.
The band posted on Facebook thanking their fans. “I’M FIRE LINGERRRR YEAH! Wow! Thank you A’TIN for bringing us to the Top Spot on the Billboard #HotTrending Songs,” SB19 captioned.
Bazinga is followed by BTS’ Permission to Dance, Stray Kids’ Christmas EveL, Dimash Kudaibegen’s Fly Away, Mew Suppasit’s Spaceman, BE:FIRST’s Gifted, EXO Kai’s Peaches, BTS’s Dynamite and lastly, Stray Kids’ Winter Falls.
