TV host and radio broadcaster Ramon Tulfo is being called out after ranting on Twitter that PHIVOLCS didn’t send out any warnings regarding the recent Taal eruption.

“G*ddamn Phivocvoc! There was no warning about the eruption of Taal Volcano! If I were to have my way, I would have all the Phivocs people executed!,” the tweet said.
Despite blowing up over 3 days late, netizens refused to let this go. Majority of the reactions are informing him that the government agency, in fact, already released an announcement in December 2019. At least among other things…
This agency you’re calling bukbok has issued warnings since last year. Here are @phivolcs_dost bulletins from Dec. 1 and 19, respectively: https://t.co/GYr4hUtadu pic.twitter.com/0X4ji4hikw

Good afternoon sir. Actually they did give an advisory. They work hand in hand with ndrrmc and the local governments. For further dissemination of info, they leave it up to these groups because they do not have the capacity to do everything. https://t.co/FY8aBdGJsE

Goddamn govovornment! There was no warning about the ₱11billion (2018) and the ₱4 billion (2019) budget cut for NDRRMC's Calamity Fund! If I were to have my way, I would not be as dumb as Ramon Tulfo! https://t.co/qVRcdFGLvu

While some are pointing out that he can’t even spell ‘PHIVOLCS’ right:
You can't even spell PHIVOLCS correctly. https://t.co/GEgpvpKoUK

If we had it our way, we'd spell Phivolcs correctly but I guess even 60 million pesos can't buy a decent, functioning brain.

Ever since the tweet was posted on January 12, Ramon Tulfo’s only update across his social media platforms is of him expressing his support to Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar.
Relatives of former kidnap victims handed me this video last night. They learned that I’m rooting for Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar to become chief of the Philippine National Police. https://t.co/jK0gmiplac
