The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro can be preordered on Friday, and will be physically available on October 23. The iPhone Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available on November 6, and will be available in stores beginning Friday, November 13.

Starting this October, phones will be available through Apple authorized resellers and selected carriers, Apple said.

“This is the huge leap for iPhone, bringing the best 5G experience in the market and delivering our most advance technologies to users who want the absolute most from their iPhone,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

“These experiences and so much more make this the best iPhone lineup ever,” Joswiak added.

One of the highlights in iPhone 12 is its connectivity which enables its users to download a two hour movie in less than a minute, high-speed video streaming, real-time interactivity, and high definition FaceTime.

Mainly to its new features, what interests its consumer is their greatest promotion of iPhone 12’s bandwidth. Things are certainly getting better as internet speed continued to expand the 5G coverage in the world. The new products will test whether Apple can get the excitement of the consumers around its new feature 5G but just like with everything else, 5G needs some time to mature. Hence, the speed of the new 5G phones may vary heavily on the area and which network being carried.

“Lots of little niggly details that get in the way of delivering on the promise of 5G,” Bob O’Donnell, head of TECHnalysis Research said. He also shared that Apple may be setting some customers up for disappointment when phones ship but offers only modest speed increases until the carriers build out its network.

“I don’t feel like Apple clarified that as much as they could have,” O’Donnell added.

Moreover, As Apple tries to hit the sell this Christmas, Apple assures that they will work with the carrier’s “ultrawideband” 5G networks to alleviate the bottlenecks and challenges in major cities like New York and Los Angeles, as well as in crowded areas like NFL stadiums. Apple said it had tested 5G on more than 800 carriers in 30 regions globally.
